Would you consider dating someone with different religious beliefs from yours?
In her latest vlog, Ms. Veralyn wrestles with the idea of dating outside of her religion. As a Christian, she wonders whether she should restrict herself only to Christian men since they (in theory) share the same values. So, would you date outside your religion?
As the vlog begins, one of Ms. Veralyn’s interviewees states that relationships are all about compromise…this is certainly true – but can you compromise on something as big as religious beliefs? Maybe it all depends on how different your religions are – are you a devout Catholic and your prospective partner a Muslim? Or a passionate atheist? Or perhaps the bigger issue is how deeply felt your beliefs are – do you only attend church on Easter and Christmas, or not believe in religion at all?
